According to the revolving fund financial management system data of the Ministry of National Education, total income of the vocational and technical high schools in the first nine months of 2021 was 426 million 935 thousand and 295liras and this figures increased by 219 percent in the first nine months of 2002 and reached 1 billion 362 million 789 thousand and 924 liras.
Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stressed that production capacity of vocational high schools as a part of revolving fund is gradually increasing and said, "This production makes a contribution to both the country's economy and the learning process of students. Income of vocational high schools increased by 219 percent in the first nine months of this year when compared to the same period of last year and reached 1 billion 362 million 789 thousand and 924 liras. Students and teachers got 223 million and 517 liras share from the production made in the first nine months."
Noting that they have been working with faith and determination in the last three years in order to solve all problems of vocational education, Minister Özer said vocational schools are recently making important contributions to the country's economy, exporting their products and registering their patents, useful models and designs. They are also preferred by academically successful students.
İstanbul, Ankara ve Gaziantep ranked first three in the highest income list
Vocational and technical schools in İstanbul earned more than 148 million 93 thousand and 672 liras income while income of vocational and technical schools in Ankara earned 131 million 283 thousand and 799 liras and vocational and technical schools in Gaziantep earned 117 million 851 thousand and 195 liras.
Same statistical data revealed that Konya Karatay Kılıçarslan Borsa Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School earned 25 million 255 thousand and 174 liras, Gaziantep Şehitkamil Şehit Serdal Şakır Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School earned 22 million and 90 thousand liras and Gaziantep Şehitkamil Beylerbeyi Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School earned 21 million 383 thousand and 55 liras and ranked first three in Türkiye in the list of production capacity among vocational high schools.
These three schools made production in "food and beverage services, informatics and motor vehicle technologies" sectors.
Vocational high school students and teachers get 223 million and 517 thousand liras share as a part of revolving fund
Share of students and personnel of the vocational high schools from the production capacity as a part of revolving fund in the first nine months of 2022 is 223 million and 517 thousand liras, 67 million 533 thousand and 513 liras of this amount is paid to students and remaining 155 million 984 thousand and 167 liras is paid to the personnel.
Highest pay paid to students which is 885 thousand and 711 liras is in Antalya Muratpaşa Falez Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School. Konya Karatay Kılıçarslan Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School ranked second with 792 thousand and 318 liras and Hatay Dörtyol Dörtyol Recep Atakaş Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School ranked third with 734 thousand and 728 liras.
Share of school personnel reached 155 million and 984 thousand liras
First school in the list of highest personnel share is Hatay Dörtyol Dörtyol Recep Atakaş Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School with 1 million 579 thousand and 584 liras. Konya Karatay Kılıçarslan Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School ranked second with 1 million 419 thousand and 315 liras and Şanlıurfa Karaköprü GAP Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School ranked third with 1 million 297 thousand and 541 liras.
