"Quality of vocational education is increasing"
Deputy Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer visited the Küçükçekmece Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Hospital and received information about the trade with the high school.

After his visit, Özer stated students have been giving food service to the hospital staff, patients and their visitors in all units and their activities in the hospital gave them the opportunity to gain experience and assert themselves.

Özer said, "Production of the state set the bar for quality and inspired the private sector to do better. If the state stops producing then we would not have the chance to determine the quality of products supplied by the private sector. Our purpose is not making a profit. We are doing this job. The important thing is to teach our students through production and allow them to make a contribution to the economy. Our purpose is to introduce the skills of our students to the business world and respond to the needs of state institutions with good quality products."

Noting that the Ministry has been making important investments in an effort to increase the quality of vocational education, Özer stressed that they prioritize cooperation between the state and the sector.

İstanbul Provincial Director of National Education Levent Yazıcı, Deputy Directors Serkan Gür and Levent Özil as well as  Küçükçekmece District Director of National Education Murat Gözüdok accompanied Özer during his visit.
