Özer said that they met with the provincial and district national education directors of Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Konya, Adana, Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep and Diyarbakır last week and the progress has been made as the schooling rates in secondary education have increased to 96 percent.

Noting that they aim to increase the schooling rate in secondary education to 99 percent by the end of March, Özer stated that they do not want to lose any students.

Expressing that they will continue to work to solve problems in the field so that all children can access education, Minister Özer emphasized that even reaching a single student gives great pleasure.

Provincial and district national education directors participating in the meeting also had the opportunity to convey the problems they have faced in the field.
