The telescopic light tower produced by the design team of Izmit Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, one of the R&D schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, was dispatched to Hatay after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş. High school students contributed to the search and rescue efforts in the earthquake zone with the telescopic light tower.

 

The generators used in the search and rescue works carried out in the region at night caused excessive noise, making it difficult for the rescue team. The silent operation feature of the telescopic lighting tower, where the batteries are filled with solar energy during the day, helped the search and rescue teams to efficiently work.

 

The telescopic tower, which can also be used as a mobile projector with its extendable cables, was used for the first time in the debris removal works in Hatay.
