Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk announced that the Ministry has decided to organize short movie contest amongst the provincial directorates of national education under the theme of water saving.
Directorate for Secondary Education will carry out the organization of the short movie contest entitled, "Right Water Saving" which is planned in order to raise awareness among students about conscious water consumption and encourage students for saving water.
Every provincial directorate of national education will form its own team and apply to the contest until March 5. Results of the contest will be announced on March 22, the World Water Day.
Teams will are allowed to cooperate with higher education institutions and will include contestants from all fields of education such as students, teachers, school administrators, school staff and academicians.
Jury of the contest is as follows; Director Derviş Zaim, Movie Producer and Chairwoman of TÜRSAK Foundation Elif Dağdeviren, TRT Children's Channel Coordinator Bora Durmuşoğlu, Actor Demir Karahan and İstanbul University Academician Associate Professor Özgü Yolcu.
