Minister Özer said during the inauguration ceremony of Beyoğlu Mustafa Kandıralı Fine Arts High School that the Summer Professional Work Program scheduled between June 20 and 24 will be a distance training program and will be carried out through Teachers Information Network (ÖBA)
Reminding that the school year will end on June 17, Özer noted that he was happy to continue face-to-face education as he pledged when he was named as the Minister of National Education.
"I am grateful to teachers who wore their masks all the time, followed all Covid-19 measures and got vaccinated. Vaccination rate of teachers was higher than not only our country's average but also many OECD countries. They displayed an example for society," said Özer.
He said that teachers will not come to school during seminar week, also known as the professional work period and they will be on administrative leave between June 27 and 30. They will attend their obligatory professional improvement training programs through ÖBA.
