NUMBER OF INTERACTIVE BOARDS INSTALLED AT SCHOOLS REACHED 522 THOUSAND AND 691

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that his Ministry has allocated all of its means in an effort to improve the technological infrastructure of schools adding that, "We will continue to equip our schools with technological products in order to give better education to children. Within this framework, we have changed 20,000 SSD disks for productive use of interactive boards at schools. Number of Interactive Board Support Points which was active in 27 vocational schools in all 81 cities of the country reached 127 schools."
 
Minister Özer said that the Ministry has completed the installation of 1,320 computer technologies lab as a part of "10,000 Schools in Basic Education Project" and they also installed 24,000 personal computer sets in these labs.
 
Özer said that as a part of the FATİH project initiated in an effort to improve 3D thinking and design skills of students, 420 3D printers were installed in the labs and added, "We also distributed 6,500 tablets to students who failed to attend school due to their chronic illness. We loaded learning content suitable to the type of education in these tablets."
