MINISTER TEKİN AND THE STUDENTS IN ERZURUM PAY A MOMENT OF RESPECT FOR THE CHILDREN WHO LOST THEIR LIVES DURING THE ATTACKS IN GAZA

A minute of silence was held in schools across Türkiye for those who lost their lives, especially children, in Israel's attacks on Gaza.
 
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin attended the flag ceremony held at Türk Telekom Palandöken Nurettin Topçu Social Sciences High School in Erzurum.
 
Minister Tekin held a minute of silence together with teachers and students for those who lost their lives in Palestine.
 
After singing the National Anthem, Minister Tekin took photos with the students he was closely interested in. Minister Tekin also visited the classrooms and teachers' room at the school. 
 
Governor of Erzurum Mustafa Çiftçi, AK Party Erzurum deputies Selami Altınok and Mehmet Emin Öz, Provincial Chairman of AK Party İbrahim Küçükoğlu, district mayors, institution directors and representatives of non-governmental organizations attended the ceremony.
 
In accordance with the decision taken by the Ministry of National Education in flag ceremonies in all basic and secondary education institutions across the country for those who lost their lives, especially children, in Israel's Gaza attacks, a minute's silence was observed in the flag ceremonies held in schools.
 
It was stated in the letter sent to the provinces with the signature of the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin that "Ensuring the safety of all children and their families, regardless of their race, religion or political opinion, protecting their health and right to life and taking precautions against all kinds of violence, cruelty and exploitation are among our basic humanitarian responsibilities."
