July 15 veteran teacher talks about what he went through
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Zengin said, "On the night of July 15 our mission was clear. We took up the mission like our hero soldiers and police officers to fight for our country."

Explaining that he was among the people who gathered in front of the General Staff to resist the brain team of July 15 coup attempt, Zengin went on to say, "It was then they fired guns. My leg was injured but thank to Allah I am fine now and Allah granted me to become a veteran for my country. During that period, I underwent two surgeries. I am fine now.  May Allah prevent the reoccurrence of such bad days. As a history teacher, I think explaining July 15 to young generations is a mission. I am just one veteran. I pray to Allah to let me become a martyr for my country."

Works will be displayed at the Kızılay Metro Bazaar exhibition hall between July 20 and July 24 and then at the Ulucanlar Jail Museum hall after July 24.
