Families show intense interest in the "Family School" project which was initiated in late August by the Ministry of National Education (MEB) under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's spouse Emine Erdoğan. Within this framework, 525 thousand and 898 parents attended the training programs organized as a part of family school within two months.

 

Training packages based on cultural values include classes such as communication between family members, moral development, development of social emotional skills, healthy diet, prevention of addiction, conflict and stress management, use of safe technology, first aid, traffic and environmental awareness.

 

The Minister of National Education made the following comments about the family school project: "We wished to prepare training packages which will support families that form the core of the society. This is the reason why we prepare the Family School project. We continue to update the content of family school projects in a way that will protect family structure against global threats. Training packages based on cultural values include classes such as communication between family members, moral development, development of social emotional skills, healthy diet, prevention of addiction, conflict and stress management, use of safe technology, first aid, traffic and environmental awareness. Training programs simultaneously began in all 18 cities of the country on August 18, 2022 with the support of Emine Erdoğan and named the project as the "Family School". Within two months, 525 thousand and 898 parents attended the training programs organized as a part of the project. Families living in villages can benefit from the project through village public centers. Our goal was to reach 1 million families until the end of 2022 and serve 2.5 million families in 2023."
