MEB ROBOT CONTEST

MEB International Robot Contest which was postponed due to the new type of corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic will be organized in Şanlıurfa between June 14-18 under the "Göbeklitepe theme" and "point zero of Ahican history" slogan. International applications and audience will not be accepted to the contest as a part of pandemic measures.
 
The 14th of International Contest which was held in different cities every year as a result of cooperation between the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), the Turkish Technology Foundation (TEKNOFEST) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination (TİKA) under the coordination of the Ministry of National Education was planned to be held in Şanlıurfa but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
 
This year, the contest will organized under the theme of Göbeklitepe which is called as "point zero of history" with its 12 thousand year old past and listed in the UNESCO World Heritage and slogan of "point zero of Ahican history" between June 14 and 18. Applications, correction and approval transactions for the contest will be carried out between February 15 and May 21.
 
Secondary school and equivalent education institutions, high school and university students can apply for the contest which will be organized in line with the Covid-19 measures at the Şanlıurfa GAP Arena Sports Complex. In addition to new applications, those who applied last year have to renew their applications.
 
International applications and audience will not be accepted to the contest as a part of the pandemic measures. 
 
Award winners and selected participants of the contest will be qualified to participate in the TEKNOFEST Robotic Competition which will be organized in İstanbul between September 21 and 26.
