Expressing that they are making great efforts to ensure that education and training activities continue as soon as possible as part of the efforts to bind up the wounds in the earthquake area, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer shared a post on his social media account regarding the Mehmetçik Schools established in the region.

 

Expressing that preschool teachers, guidance teachers and psychological counselors continue to support the children in the quake-hit provinces, Minister Özer stated that tents were set up for preschool education, primary and secondary schools. Özer shared on his social media that they are opening 'The Mehmetçik Schools'.

 

Stating that with the understanding of 'continuing education under all conditions' in the earthquake area, Özer shared that they are opening 'Mehmetçik Schools' in tent and container cities in 10 provinces in cooperation with the Ministry of National Defense. Özer stressed that they are working for the future of the children with unity and solidarity."
