The Hatay Biomedical Device Calibration Center that primarily carries out tests related to the calibration of medical devices in the family health center, started its activities as part of the training and cooperation protocol signed between the Hatay Directorate of National Education and the Hatay Provincial Directorate of Health.
The biomedical device calibration center that opened at the Hatay Şehit Serkan Talan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School is the first in vocational education in Turkey.

Deputy Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer, who attended the opening program of the Hatay Biomedical Device Calibration Center workshop with a live link, wished that this center, which is a first in vocational education in Turkey, would be beneficial and received information about the center from the Provincial Director of National Education Kemal Karahan and the school administration. The Calibration Center is the First in Turkey
Stating that the calibration center was established in Hatay for the first time in Turkey, Provincial Director of National Education Kemal Karahan said: "In the first phase, we started to calibrate the devices at the health centers and in ambulances. Previously, device calibration was done by private companies. It started to be done by our school for the first time at the state level and it is a first in Turkey. Our Ministry has initiated great moves in vocational education. In Turkey, we are working with their leadership in this direction. Our next goal is to be able to calibrate all medical devices in big hospitals such as research hospitals in Hatay and city hospitals. "
The devices in the ambulance belonging to the Hatay Directorate of Health were calibrated in the opening ceremony.
