In 2022, we founded ÖBA in an effort to increase training program options and it was first used during the midterm holiday between January 24 and February 4. We see that teachers demand training programs more when we increase their options. For example, 780,482 teachers have attended training programs in the first four months of 2021. In the first four months of 2022, this figure increased by 213 percent and reached 2 million 439 thousand and 223. This increase allowed us to reset our goal concerning training program per student figures as 120 hours."

For the first time in its history, the Ministry organizes school based professional improvement training programs
Stressing that school-based professional improvement training programs were among the most important activities of the Ministry in 2022, Özer said, "From now on, schools decide which training programs they will organize according to their needs and the Ministry sends the required budget. This program is the first of its kind. We have increased the budget allocated for training programs by 35 times."
